At the moment I’m thinking about elephants. My interest is twofold.
You know that expression ‘the elephant in the room’ - an obvious truth that is being ignored- well that’s side one of my interest.
And Q ‘how do you eat an elephant?’ A ‘bit by bit’ is the second side.
My current situation is that I have a number of elephants in the room which need to be eaten bit by bit. So I’m enlisting help. You are that help. Thank you.
And the ‘elephant’ I’d like you to think about is social media.
This elephant is: Do we really need someone to tell us how to connect with other like minded human beings? Can’t we find a way to do it for ourselves?
I’m putting this question out there for response. I’d be interested in your opinion regarding the following:
What do I want from a social network?
What do I NOT want from a social network?
What would my perfect social network look like?
Be bold. Think big. If you could design a social network, what would it look like? What features would it have?
I will return in a week and see what comments this post has sparked – if any! Over to you. I’m off boiling up other bits of elephants, meantime.
