An innovative festival first: Throughout the festival Kathleen Jones will be running Life Writing Workshops.
We are looking to pick twelve people to take part in the interactive workshops.
This is how it works.
The workshops will come online at the festival on alternate days at 4pm (BST)
Supplementary material can be downloaded in pdf form and there is an exercise (which all can do.)
After each workshop at 4pm (BST) the following day, Kathleen will be posting anonymous, general feedback on the work sent in to her by the 12 participants.
Life is a narrative – What is the story going to be? Workshop Monday 12th August. (Starts at 4.15pm today) Feedback Tues 13th August.
Memory and Imagination – Observing and recording. Workshop Weds 14th August. Feedback Thurs 15th August

The 12 registered participants will email work for general comment and this will be given anonymous feedback throughout the festival on the ‘feedback’ days. The aim of anonymous, general feedback is that it will prove of interest to all aspiring life writers, not just to the participants.
If you want to be considered for a place on this interactive workshop please email firstname.lastname@example.org
‘Interactive places are limited so as long as you know you’ll be around and able to fully particpate during the course of the fortnight, you need to get in there quickly! If you miss out on an ‘interactive’ place you can still take part but you won’t hand in the exercises or get specific feedback.
