1) No book sales, there was a flurry of my second book last year, but that was because my mother-in-law had given it out to her book club. They didn’t really like it. And the grammar fiend was especially critical. Ho hum, I know my grammar isn't too great. As the late great Ivor Cutler once commented in one of his great Living Room monologues, there’s nothing like a Scotch Education.
2) But I have converted my first book into a roleplaying game. Some friends have never bought the book (boo hiss) – they’re not great readers, so I thought. I know what I’m going to do, is get them to go through the book as an adventure. They’re currently on a continent with dinosaurs and then they’re going to meet a group of kidnappers or are they terrorists or are they freedom-fighters? One big problem is they speak different languages and the only language (initially) anyone has in common is ancient English. The intention is that if anyone reads the books and wants to send their friends through the book, then they can do so.
So if anyone fancies doing this then read the books and then speak to me.
